Notice of Public Hearing will take place on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the monthly meeting ( 7 pm) of the Camden County Technical Schools Board of Education at the Pennsauken Campus as the Board votes on the contracts of Kathryn Hartford (Assistant Superintendent of Schools) and James Clark  (School Business Adminis-trator) for school years 08-09 and 09-10. Proposed contracts were reviewed by the Executive County Superintendent with permission to post on our web site for a period of not less than thirty days.

Performing Arts Academy

The Performing Arts Academy will present THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK Friday, February 12th at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of our Pennsauken campus on Browning Road. Tickets will be sold at the door - $5.00 for adults, $4.00 for senior citizens and students.


Intensive Weight Training

The students at the Gloucester Township Campus participated in two months of intensive weight training which culminated in three competitions. The first competition was a Strong Man Competition, performing a dead lift, which dates back to early Olympic competition. A rigorous weight-training program was designed and performed by students to increase kinesthetic and physiologic pathways thereby increasing strength. Read more...

N.J.A.C. 6A:27-1.1(c), the district board of education providing the transportation services has sole authority to make a determination to suspend transportation services due to inclement weather. Hence, parents/guardians should consult with the district where they reside if their district will be providing transportation. Parents who drive their children to school when their district is closed are reminded that their district will not provide transportation home.

The New Jersey School Boards Association Insurance Group (NJSBAIG) awarded Camden County Technical Schools a safety grant in the amount of $ 20,882.00 for its commitment to safety and security as is its mission. The money will be used for security cameras.

announced on July 21, 2009 that CCTS was awarded 2010 21st Century Grant in the amount of $500,000.00.

Grants Awarded
The US Department of Education announced June 26th that CCTS was awarded the FY 2009 Arts in Education Model Development Grant in the amount of $217,635.00.

The New Jersey Department of Education announced on June 30th that CCTS was awarded 2010 Tech-Prep Grant in the amount of $240,000.00.

Commissioner Davy announced that CCTS was chosen as the one of the 19 recipients of PSLP Award of $7500.00 from the 90 schools who applied: NJ DOE PSLP
