  General Information

The Technical Institute (TI), the adult division of Camden County Technical Schools, has provided occupational and career education since 1969.

Adults can pursue the training or retraining necessary to gain entry into business, technical, trade, and health occupations. Training is also provided to those wishing to change careers or advance in their present positions. Curriculum revision and new program development are on-going processes. It is our goal to meet the current demands of business and industry.

The Technical Institute offers a full range of day and evening programs at the Gloucester Township campus. Students are awarded a diploma upon successful completion of a full-time program.

The Technical Institute is accredited by the American Dental Association, Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, Print Industries of America, the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation, and the Consumer Electronics Manufacturers' Association.

Each Technical Institute student must pay a $100 non-refundable administrative fee per program upon acceptance. Required textbooks, supplies and materials must be purchased by the student and are non-refundable. Tuition paid for classes canceled due to insufficient enrollment is fully refundable. All other refunds will be given based on the schedule below.

A tuition refund form must be submitted to the Office of Adult Education if an applicant wishes to withdraw his/her application. The applicant must ask a member of the staff to “date stamp” the form when it is submitted. Once the form is processed, the applicant will receive a voucher. The voucher is to be signed by the applicant and submitted to the Office of Adult Education. A refund will be mailed to the applicant approximately 30 days after the voucher is received and processed by the Office of Adult Education.

Be advised that if any document submitted to the Technical Institute has been altered/changed, you will be subject to immediate dismissal from any and/or all Technical Institute programs.
