Length of Program/Schedule

Most Technical Institute full-time programs run for 10 months, from September until June, and meet from three to five times per week. Several programs run for 12 months or more.

Attendance policies are established and students may fail the program due to poor attendance.

Students may apply for participation in a school-to-careers transition program after completion of the first semester. They must meet the requirements of the program, document employment in the area of their program of study and submit on-the-job attendance verifications until graduation. Participants in the school-to-careers program are required to pay tuition for the second semester in order to receive a diploma and CEU's at the end of the year.

Acceptance into the school-to-careers program is made on an individual basis and is subject for approval by the Director of Adult Education.

Students interested in a specific career program may request a program description sheet by calling 767-7002 ext. 5435.
